New Site Features—Calendar, etc

Thursday, July 12th 2007 - 9:37 pm by Aaron

Doodlegeek.com has gained two new features—the ability to browse articles using a calendar and a list of the most commented on articles.

I just threw the calendar together tonight. Actually, I just threw the most-commented-on list together the other day too. Both of them have some rough edges—especially the calendar, which is mostly made up of rough edges. I hope to improve the calendar in the near future, but it should be usable now. Let me know if you have any problems using it.

The calendar is intended to make it easier to browse through older articles, and the most-commented-on list is intended to give quick access to some of the more interesting ones.

I just noticed that links in the calendar were not working—I must have broken something in the process of updating. It should be fixed now.

Oops. I just noticed that there are a few more problems than I realized. I fixed a couple more issues, but I think there are still some more. I have recently done a lot of reprogramming on this site, and apparently I introduced some bugs in the process. Let me know if you experience any problems that I may be unaware of.
